This is a great beer. Hopps are mild with a very light bitterness. However there is a nice citrus, orange taste. I didn’t expect to like this beer as much as I did. Seems like it may be a limited release so purchase it while you can!

Picked up a can at Trader Joe's. Delicious and wonderful NEIPA style beer. Appears to be from a new "experimental" line at Smog City that I'll have to pay closer attention to...

OK, I know this across the board row of "5" looks hokey. I have never done this score before (look at my history of ratings). This 16 oz can marked #1124, 09/07/020 was purchased at Trader Joes off a room temp shelf for $13 per 4 pack and chilled for about a 4 days until now. Can states Ekuanot, Mosaic, and Centennial hops. Beautiful white head of moderate to large bubbles about 3 fingers high with good persistence (some head was till present, along with nice lacing, when I finally bottomed it out). Cannot see any carbonation rising through the opaque beautiful yellow/gold color haze. I have poor sense of smell but was immediately hit by very noticeable tropical fruit and citrus on the nose which carried over directly to the taste and persisted until I drained the glass. A barely-there hop bitterness. Clean mouthfeel, no alcohol burn at all (6.8% ABV) . I have had a fair number of hazy IPAs, (despite anything in my relatively limited BA history of reviews) since I am mainly an IPA or stout drinker, and without a doubt this is the one I will be going back too. Unfortunately this is part of a series brewed for only 2 months. Get some now or never. Maybe someone else with a more refined sense of smell and taste can further breakdown the flavors, but for now this is my personal gold standard.
