This is probably the best of the smog city experimental series. It plays in the same league as the very best in the hazy IPA category. The only downside is it looks like there are chunks of parmesan cheese swirling around in it. Big chunks, too, like what you'd find in the table shaker at a cheap Italian restaurant in a humid coastal town.

16 oz can dated 4/16/21 and consumed on 5/18. Bought off a room temp shelf as a single. Pours very opaque (but with no suspended solids visible) with the color of grapefruit juice. 1 finger white head that has decently long persistence. At the end of the glass there is still a thin layer of head. Some lacing. Grapefruit and hops are obvious upon opening and pouring, and my sense of smell is poor. Flavor is grapefruit and some other nondescript citrus but it is the hop mix that really makes the flavor. IMO the Ekuanot and to a lesser degree Simcoe are the most obvious. Medium viscosity mouthfeel with very fine, moderate amount of carbonation. Overall I like this one and it is worth a try if you can find it in its limited release and if you like the stated hop mix and like the really opaque version of hazy IPA
