Optical Haze

Pours a hazy orange, nice head of foam, good lacing and retention.

Smells of oranges, mango, some pineapple, quite tropical.

Taste is somewhat bitter but juicy oranges, mango, pineapple, hoppy but also leans towards sweet.

Good mouthfeel as it coats my tongue.
Overall, good Hazy.

Canned February 25th.

Canned 2/13/25. Consumed 2/24/25. Very pale yellow, and very hazy, like a glassful of filtered grapefruit juice. Very nice dense white head almost 2 fingers tall in a modified perfect pint glass. Decent duration on the head. Only a token amount of lacing. Mainly grapefruit+orange+tangerine , plus pineapple. The other flavors advertised (mango and watermelon candy) on the can are maaaaaybe(?) there by power of suggestion. Fairly heavy body. Overall, pretty good ,but not really much unique or experimental in the execution, at least with regard to the flavor profile. These Smog City Experimental Series are always fun to try, though.

 

This is another in Smog City's experimental hazy IPA series (Smog Days). Another entry in the series, Snow Donut, is far superior. This is not quite off, but the flavors clash rather than harmonize.
