This was canned about 3 weeks ago. This is my least favorite out of their limited edition series. I have had some outstanding examples from the series but this is not one of them. It is not a bad beer....just underwhelming. I don't smell much and the appearance is OK, with some nice white head perhaps a thin finger high, but it is neither especially long lasting nor does it leave any impressive lacing (or any at all). I smell nothing notable upon opening the can or pouring. The taste is OK if you like that hop profile, but it is fairly muted unless you perhaps have highly refined sense of taste+smell.

This IPA is good but def not great. You can tell it's well crafted but it lacks any pizzaz. The flavors are good but muddled, nothing really pops.
I've noticed this is common of Smog City, they make decent beers but never take any chances. I do recommend Smog City but don't expect them to blow you away.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
