On tap @ the source. Based on Third Nipple Tripel and aged in Chardonnay barrels.
A: Pours a light, straw yellow with a thin (1/4") bright white head with fades to the rim and leaves spots of lace.
N: Lots of white grape notes, belgian bready yeast, grain, slightly floral and perfumy.
T: Follows the nose with dominant vinous, yeast, spicy and grainy. Slighty sweet.
M: Semi-moderate body and carbonation. Finishes with white grape, sweetness and yeast.
O: Barrel aging did not add tannic, sour, or woody notes; however, the vinous Chardonnay really comes through. I'd honestly have to say i'd have a hard time drinking a pint.
