Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 31, 2018. Thick hazy orange appearance. Floral and pine aroma with notes of grapefruit, orange, pineapple and mango.

Super cloudy orange smoothie color with two-plus fingers of near-white head. Spotty, soapy lacing.
Dusty pine, grapefruit, floral notes and tropical fruit in the nose.
Really creamy orange, pineapple and mango up front in the taste, with a little grapefruit pith and strong piney bitterness on the backend. There’s some mineral water, pepper and a little sugary sweetness as well.
It has a soft but hefty, creamy feel with light, tight carbonation.
This beer just absolutely nails the look and feel of a NEIPA. I’m hard pressed to think of a cloudier, juicier beer. From the pine trees on the label art, however, I was expecting a West Coast piney bitter bomb. This is that dumped inside a fruity new school brew. It’s intensely-flavored with a lot crammed in there. On some sips I think it works, and on others it all seems a little too much. As a hybrid it could probably be better balanced. Lovers of big, in-your-face IPAs should find it fun to try.

Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher glass this beer pours out completely hazy. A light shade of orange and forms a thin but tight white crown.
The smell is juicy with citrus notes of orange, pineapple, tangerine & mango.
The taste comes in with the same citrus as the nose and being smooth instead of tangy. The smell definitely brings more to the table than the taste. The taste is enjoyable, just more balanced. A slight pepper on the backend for the finish.
The mouthfeel is soft, creamy and smooth. Very slight tang presence.

A pineapple juice milkshake in a beer, with a slightly off-white head that recedes rapidly. Dank, pungent citrus aromas on the nose.
The taste is tart grapefruit and juicy mango, with a subtle peppery note. I don’t know the hopbill used for this, but I’d guess there’s Mosaic somewhere in the mix. Love it.
