Aroma is malts, lactic acid and a hint of worcester sauce. The flavor is complex tropical fruit, citrus, slightly milky/lactic, malts and a sourish finish.

Smell is a hint of melon, citrus tartness, and a woody-type of aroma. Taste is smokey up front, with a citrus-like tartness, hint of berry, a little buttery flavor, and grass. It's a really interesting mix of flavors, although I admittedly have no idea what acerola actually tastes like. I really enjoyed the tartness in the beer but the overall flavor profile came together strangely for me.

4oz pour, then another 2oz: I love tart beers especially sour Gose's so I might be bios but I think this beer is phenomenal. Great sour tartness but with this citrusy kick. I believe it’s from the addition of the Acerola fruit. It’s a cherry like fruit from Brazilian. The best thing about this brew is its only 3.5%. This is a perfect all day out summer beer. Hope to find it in the states in the near future. 4.50

Pours a slightly murky brassy orange with a finger of white foam. Nose is dominated by interesting combination of fruit notes such as lemon and kiwi. Flavor is moderately tart orange and stone fruit. Finish is quite clean. Interesting beer with a unique flavor profile.

Another treat from Sergio and company. Thanks again!
So Brazil has a (somewhat) widespread attempt at a sour ale, and it is Way who is leading the charge. With a alcohol level of just 3.5%, I was surprised to come across a tart lemon and berry combination that was very pleasing without feeling watered down nor feeling like it's going to decay the enamel off your teeth. In fact, I'm surprised the Way didn't try to go down the Berliner Weiss road based on the alcohol level. Perhaps one day they will.

310ml bottle served in a small chalice glass.
Brewed with Acerola, a small and sour fruit that is quite popular in Brazil. It looks pretty much like a cherry
A: Nice bottle art. Silkscreened bottle with the "Sour" separated from "Acerola" by a very small "not me" that suggests that the beer name is actually "Sour not me Acerola". Anyways, the beer pours a bright yellow forming a big thin bubbled white head with medium retention and only few lacings left in the glass
S: Very tart and fruity. Strong notes of Acerola. Wild yeast notes
T: Dry, tart and very fruity. Again, strong notes of Acerola and tart tropical fruits. Light notes of pale malts and wild yeasts
M: Light body. Medium and fizzy carbonation. Sour fruity aftertaste
O: Great drinkability. Great fruity beer that reminded me a lot a Berliner Weisse. Way is a brewery ahead of its time. While the big majority of the Brazilian craft breweries are concentrated on cloning American IPAs, Way is already exploring the wide horizon of producing Wild/Sour/Fruit beers by using local Brazilian ingredients
