This year’s Belgian-style Kriek is brewed with cherries and spontaneously fermented in red wine barrels to give this sour a complex layer of tart and fruit.

Had on tap. Pinkish gold body with lots of carbonation bubbles but no head. Smell is funky and tart cherry, brett, barrel funk, and hints of red wine. Taste had really nice funk and oak, but the cherry needed to be more upfront. Had more of a wild ale finish than lambic. Feel was more sour oak pucker than funky and sweet lambic, but had a little of both. Still a nice ale

Rose blush color. Pink hued white head.
Fairly sour and tart. Surprisingly close to a lambic. Lots of cherries. Brett shows with a little bit of funk.
Light bodied. Nice carbonation.
A bit off style, but very surprised with how well they did with it.
