L: bright ruby tinted amber under a 1" cream foam cap with good retention. Bubbles rise moderately fast to refresh the cap.
S: fruit, a hint of caramel, some peach, light dried fruit and citrus.
T: Big peach and berry flavor and light citrus balanced by a mildly assertive hop bitterness. By the finish the oak jumps out and dries everything out. The sweetness is just below moderate, The peach, berry, fruit is moderate and the hop bitterness is moderate. The oak is moderately high but the sweet fruit flavors provide balance.
F: For the size of the beer, the body is medium to medium light. It has an oak astringency that melds with the hops. It has a creamy Belgian texture and is very smooth.
O: The tannin is on the brink with this beer but it works
