Minimal head from a vigorous pour. Quickly fades to nothing. Golden hue. Aroma of sweet malt and belgian yeast esters. Bubble gum. Mild bourbon barrel notes after warming significantly. Taste follows the nose. Sweet, oak, vanilla. Slick mouthfeel, low carb for the style. Overall, a worthy purchase, but does not approach the best of the style. I was hoping for more because so few breweries produce a BBA tripel. RIP wooden rooster.
