L- A deep orange/amber, it's colour is notably rich and striking. Clear. Pours with 3mm ultra-fine white head that holds well.
S- It's quite mild, I get a breadiness, and light toasted note.
T- It's a quite a bit dryer than it's rich colour suggests. The hops appear fast on the palate, no end-note with this one. The lable describes Cascade hops giving 'floral and citrus aromas'; well I detect neither which is a positive for me, maybe they're subtle.
F- Dry, decent carbonation in the mouth, refreshing
O- The 4.0% isn't much of a platform to leverage off but there's nothing wrong I note in this beer. It's hoppier/dryer than average and could made a session beer for people who favour that style.
500ml bottle BB: Dec-2019, bought for me from the brewery yesterday. ... Which makes me wonder, it's seems short-dated considering it's source!
