Bottle stated Enjoy by 12/8/16. No hop smell on the pour, only malt. Taste was same as the smell, very malty. Those darn hop essential oils loose their smell so quickly. If you like IPAs, I recommend passing on this one.

On Tap.. Pours a hazy peach color . Has a fresh citrus smell with a lingering sweet malt sweetness. Taste was fresh and floral with citrus hop and rind a touch of bitterness off set with sweet caramel malts. Sweet and hoppy mouth feel with some dryness and bitterness in the finish, liked this on tap if bottled most likely would not buy it.

Aroma and taste are both soft & subtle and pleasing. Surprising freshness and fruit for locally grown with minimal grass in essence. Look a lot like Mad Butcher with less prominent rings marking the drink otherwise same color (a little darker) cloudiness and white head.
Nice blend of hops flavors with lowered bitterness but just enough to stick on the tongue with a touch of dryness lingering on tongue. Solid pale malt base and minimal malt sweetness. Just approaching a sticky feel otherwise thin and moderate (due to the hops) an interesting blended feel. I like it.
I had last year's & I like this one quite a bit more. This is a sneaky subtle goodness.
On tap at the brewery.

I am having it a bit past it's freshness date, but I've had some in the freshness window. It has a nice golden, murky color. The nose is citrusy. The head is moderate, and did dissipate quickly. The taste has mellowed out a bit, but you do get the citrus notes still. They aren't as harsh as fresh, but damn good still. This is a very good Fresh Hop beer, and I do recommend it if you can get it.

Wow. I really like this one. I'm a fan of fresh hopped IPAs and this one is the next best thing to Surly Wet.
The nose is citrus lemon peel albeit a bit fleeting. When it hits my tongue I get pine resin and lemon grass. The balance is perfect although I'd prefer the citrus elements to be a bit more pronounced. The mouth feel and maltiness is absolutely on point for the style.
Overall a fantastic beer.

Fresh Hopped pours a cloudy golden color with a very small head. There is a mellow but nine fresh hoppy aroma. The taste has a fresh floral favor that finishes with a hint of sweetness. A little weak. Overall, its a sweeter but tasty IPA.

A rock-solid fresh-hopped IPA from a brewery which I otherwise have not fallen in love with. As one would expect from the type of style, this is quite juicy - with a fair amount of sweetness, and some subtle citrus. The hops are hidden, but noticeable. A drinkable, refreshing, and quite simple beer, which still packs a satisfactory taste. Without a doubt, the brewery's best.

Enjoy by date of 01/21/16. Clear golden color with an attractive finger of head that quickly settled to a thin film. Some spotty lacing is left down the glass. Interesting aroma and I am curious what hops they used here. I am guessing Columbus and or Centennial. Fruit notes of pineapple, apricot, and apples, as well as herbal and pine notes. Not the most intense hop aroma but I am liking what I am smelling. As the previous reviewer noted, you can feel the hop oils in this beer as it coats the palate. The flavor is where you get the full affect of the wet hops as this tastes green, resinous, and slightly sharp with almost a chile heat. It tastes herbal, peppery, and with pine. Not picking up the more nuanced flavors of the hops. Deceiving body for a 7.0 % beer and wonder why they felt the need to make such a big beer but I am not picking up any alcohol. Has a nice level of carbonation that aids in drinkability.

2015 edition obviously, a really excellent brew, but quite subtle as the wet hopped stuff goes, this is as much in the pale ale category as anything else, and doesnt really have the intensity many of the others do, but i kind of prefer that in this context. balance is the name of the game here, with as much grain flavor as hops. pale honey malt style with some body and a little breakfasty sweetness, it works with the hops here though, which border on sweet as well in all their oily glory. i dont like that i can feel the wet hop more than i can taste it. i mean, i love the feel, but that this is made with special wet hops is not readily apparent in the flavor. i really dig the balance though, sweet on sweet in a good way, very late summer for me, very light as well. hints of red pepper and pineapple from the hops, a little less aggressive than it might be for an ipa, but i could drink ten of these and be a very very happy man. my first beer from these guys is a good one, but a little safe as the style goes. i would like to see what else they do...

Had both the '15 and the '16 on tap, and interesting for a fresh hop beer, my notes are pretty consistent. Into a shaker, pours a hazy bright gold with a finger of white head. The nose is very bright and hoppy in a kind of sweet and floral way, with a somewhat light caramel and bready maltiness that plays a minimal but good supporting role...a little more juicy and citrusy mid-way through. Kind of a sticky and prickly mouthful...not super bitter or dank...somewhat modest, but very pleasant nonetheless, and even if it isn't a killer, you still feel like you're tangling something serious that is deserving of attention.
