This delicious dry stout is packed with maltiness and roasted coffee flavours. The Sidney stout is our brewers first creation here and is in honour to his late grandfather.

Tap East is primarily a quality-curated bar between a heavily trafficked shopping mall and Stratford International train station. But Tap East also has a bottle shop of 100+ brews highlighted by Belgian and Bavarian classics. Finally Tap East still manages to brew. And Sidney's Stout is quite a good Irish. It shows this was their first brew and subsequent batches have refined it.

Sidney's Stout doesn't take the sizzle route. Instead of the classic huge head of tight nitro bubbles, Sidney's has gentle mid-sized bubbles that lace around. Smells of roasted malts, coffee and hints of chocolate. Tastes are the same, but dryness grows steadily but subtly. Medium-mouthed and ever so soft. Slainte' !
