Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of sweet grain and fruit. Tastes of fresh grain with slight citrus. Beer is light boded and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Pleasant surprise! Poured from 12-ounce can into a clear Solo cup. Crystal clear golden color, with a center pour yielding a voluminous white head. Good retention, with some spotty lacing. Breast malt on the nose and palate, with notes of corn, grain, and hay. There is also a hint of lime that provides a little brightness. Light bodied as expected. Very clean finish with no off flavors or lingering tartness. Overall, not much to complain about.

Picked up a mixed twelve pack while home last weekend as a final tribute to the dearly departed Anchor, which announced plans to shut down next month a few weeks back. End of an era. This Mexican style lager is pretty typical of the style: not much for head. Nose is grainy with some citrus. A bit of corn mixed among the sweet malt notes and the lime note comes through in the aftertaste, although the finish itself is pretty clean.

12oz can into a pint glass. Canned 2/22/23, so closing in on 5 months old.
Nice looking beer. Clear golden body with a big bright white head. Neutral aroma, sweet clean taste, a little corn, and a restrained lime note in the finish. Good quencher.

Appearance: Clear, brilliant gold. Frothy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Floral hops. Biscuity malt.
Flavor: Sweet, spicy with lime note at the end. Retrained bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium body. Effervescent. Short, crisp finish. Malting in the balance
Overall: Not bad, not great. Found no obvious flaws despite the sample being four-month-old. This should have appealed to the beer drinker who likes something on the sweeter side, low bitterness and a citrusy note. Again, it's a mystery to me why this brewery has recently announced it is closing down. Definitely a big corporation decision. Sad.

Clear gold with strong effervescence and a couple fingers of dense yellowed head with rocky dissipation. Grainy aroma with lime, seawater and apple. The taste follows with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Not great.
