Appearance: Arrives with an amber color capped by a decent head; very good retention and plenty of lacing

Smell: Tea, stone fruit and earthy hop tones

Taste: Tea and stone fruit, up front, with an earthy tobacco flavor developing in the middle; dry, bitter and leathery finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A style that is rarely seen these days; if more brewers brewed it like this it would be brewed more frequently

Run of the mill ESB in my opinion their english bitter is better, overall it meets all the requirements of the style as I know it but nothing really makes me say let me get a growler of that!, Good if you happen to stumble into it, but not worth seeking out.
