Golden and hazy with white and dark floaters. Topped with a huge yellowish head with both large and small bubbles.
Smells of barnyard funk, white wine vinegar, pears and hard candy.
The taste developed as it warmed. Slightly sour, funky, lightly sweet with hints of brett, and nail polish.
Medium, chewy body, with moderate, slightly foamy body.
Got in Perth, drank at night on the beach in Madurah, Western Australia. Excellent brew with a few inconsistencies on the palate, but super interesting. Drank August 24th, 2017.

Gotta love this brewer. This has authentic Belgian characteristics everywhere. I have tried many many US attempts at a Belgian Saison. None have come close to this. The only negative about this beer is that its a tiny bit sickly on the back end. Other than that it's a must try

A mixed review!!! Have to say I love La Sirene....
It's basically a fail on the look, for a saison (especially a La Sirene saison) it's not got the fizz nor the zing...... no head.
Smell and taste are on The Money for a saison.... except..... it's a little sweet and cloying and the lack of carbonation and extra alcohol turns it a little oily in the mouth.
Almost like La Sirene tried to make a Big Beer with a higher ABV but in the process forget they have to basically make a Good Beer, and the extra ABV took awayt, rather than added to tthe prduct in the glass...

Pours a golden orange hue just like sunset with a creamy two finger head and lacing here and there, the smell is dominated by the yeast profile along with belgian bready malts, spicey fruit and a touch of booze, on taste you can tell its ABV and the tastes are Dry spicy peaches, candy, bready malts and finished with spicy dryness and overall another nice saison from the specialists cheers.
