On tap at the source.
Hazy yellow in the glass with an inch of persistent white head.
Big banana in the nose with zero cloves .Light bodied with a soft, thinnish mouthfeel.
Banana and wheat crackers on the palate.
Finishes fairly dry with minimal malt or bitterness.

Can from a Lazy Dog
Hazy lemon yellow with a white head that is thin and dissipates quickly. True to its name there is subtle banana on the nose. Lemony earthy and somewhat tart with some light funk is more of what this beer is about. Canned 4/24/18 either it isn't holding up too well or it wasn't great to begin with or some infection has taken hold.

From the 16 oz can dated 4/24/2018. Sampled on May 30, 2018.
It pours a slightly foggy amber-orange under a quick lasting white head.
They call it Subtle Banana and I do pick up whiffs of that in the aroma along with the toasty wheat, sweet caramel malt or maybe even honey. Grassy outdoorsy hops.
The body is in the medium range with a decent crispness.
The flavor tends to be more sweet and wheat-like with a clean, crispy hop finish. Bananas played down. Reasonably refreshing.
Candia Road re-branded itself in 2018 and removed "Nepenthe" from all their beer labels.
