Can from the brewery two months old. Brilliantly clear deep golden color with a thin short lived bubbly white head. Bready pilsner toasty maltiness with a bit of fruitiness and a light astringency. Not bad.

Candia Road Brewing Co. "You Proppin? Pilsner"
1 PINT can without production codes or freshness dating
Notes via stream of consciousness: According to the label this is a Czech Pilsner at 4.9% ABV. Let's see... it's poured a hazy straw gold body beneath a two-finger thick head of fluffy bright white foam. As a Czech Pilsner that's not good, it should be clear. As it is, this looks more like a Belgian witbier. The nose displays Pilsner malt and floral and grassy hops. I'd generally expect a little more hop aroma given the style but it works. On to the flavor... as expected it mimics the aroma although the hops flavors are a little stronger. It's nicely balanced in flavor, and then in bitterness versus malt sweetness with a very firm bitterness that leads it to a dry and hoppy finish. In the mouth it's medium to medium-light in body and fairly crisp. Looking back the head retention and lacing seem to be about average. Overall it's pretty nicely done.

From the 16 oz. can with no date showing. Sampled on Aug 5, 2018.
The appearance is an unfiltered looking straw yellow with a long-lasting frothy white head and some lacing left behind.
The aroma is of toasted grains, hay, corn, and grass. Smells clean.
The body is medium and smooth.
A moderate sweetness in the taste with a low to medium bitterness to wrap it all up at the end. Overall refreshing. I just mowed my lawn and this was perfect for the occasion.
