First time visit to Candia Rd Brewing yesterday.... Had a 10oz pour of this, for $7.00.
Poured in a slender, standard cylindrical glass, it was a dark, opaque, murky brown color. Had a thin, fine, beige head, with OK lacing. Aroma had cocoa, dark choco and roasty notes. Had a solid medium body, with a smooth feel going down. Thought it could have been heftier, though.
Taste had more cocoa, dark choco with a touch of bitterness, toffee and roasty notes. The bourbon was presnt but not overpowering, and the finish had some mildly floral hop notes. A decent brew.... Cheers!
