12 oz bottle poured into a tulip
A- A clear golden copper color with a three finger off-white head.
S- Citrus, oranges, pine, spicy rye, some barnyard funk, touch of wet grass.
T- Fruity, spicy rye, piney finish, slightly musty barnyard, citrus, interesting mix of flavors, works together pretty well.
M- Smooth, medium body, nice carbonation.
O- My first beer from Free Will, pretty tasty and unique.

Picked this up mixed and matched at Carnivores in Oakmont. Into a pint glass.
A - Carbonation isn't as bad as the guy below me said I got a solid 1/2 inch of head that sticks around for quite a bit not bad for a beer with 6+ months of age on it. No sediment floaties thank goodness with a tanish hazy body beer.
S - Saison notes of dry yeasts and spicy rye fill the nose with slight bitter notes and some fruit. Slightly tropical so it may not be so dry.
T - Well it does have a bit of a rye bite at the end but surprisingly its good. Taste is fruity mango and bubblegum hops, spy rye, then bitter finish rounded out by some more fruity flavor. Tasty!
M - Wow at almost 8% this is one easy going stout. It has the right carbonation too most of these beers drink like a bubbly champagne making it hard to slam.
Overall I was not very excited when I found out this was a rye beer but this is a very well done rye saison in the same way RyIPA from founders is a great rye IPA. Worth picking up if you love well done rye beers.
