Double pomegranate sour. Bursting with flavor and aroma, rich in color with a balanced tartness throughout.

2018 Vintage. Pours an opaque strawberry red, thin ring of foam, no lacing. Nose has big lactic notes, big oak, and stone fruit. Hard to differentiate pomegranate from say, cherries, but there is a "red" fruit note there. Taste leads with oak, almost overpoweringly so, while the sour punch evolves mid-palate along with more subtle barrel characteristics (light char, vanilla). As it warms, the fruit character pokes out a touch, as does the acidity, but the barrel is the dominant flavor here. As a result, it's too unbalanced for my taste, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Wonderfully funky, especially towards the end. Yes, I swirl to get the sediment.
Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Cloudy pinkish brown color with an effervescent initial head and great lacing. Fruity, funky smell and taste. Nice woodsy and pomegranate flavors. Very enjoyable sour!

Rosy red color with a nice smell of pomegranates this sour is almost identical to Free Will's Pomegranate Sour only less fruity and more of dry, balanced and aged taste. Very easy to drink and very satisfying.
