Dark brown, approaching black, with a half finger of sudsy, mocha-colored foam that quickly settles into a soupy crown.
Molasses and tootsie roll in the nose.
Similar elements carry to the taste, joined by almond, pine and oak. Warming alcohol beneath.
Thick bodied and slick with tight carbonation.
Nice, mature, dark flavors that have melded nicely almost a year into this 2024 release.

This is one of those beers that really open up as it warms. This is a warming and comforting beer that is tasting very good on a snowy, yes snowy, day in College Station, TX!
Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Very dark brown color with good brown head and lacing. Distinctive rum smell and taste. Nicely boozy and warming. Dark berries, licorice and some dark chocolate. Really enjoying my Ralphius and Ella beers.
