This perplexingly refreshing Belgian wit beer brewed with elderberries and lemon is tart and fruity, with subtle herbaceous notes from earthy Hallertauer Tradition hops. Some might call it a coincidence that this Harbinger of Doom appeared in conjunction with reports of alien abductions, monsters lurking around dark corners, and epic battles between supernatural forces emerging from the ether - but you know better. Harbinger of Doom is a messenger from the unknown. The message is this: normality is DOOMED! DOOMED! DOOOOOOMED!

A: Increasingly cloudy yellow-golden, no carbonation, off-white thin head. Artwork is colorful and grabbing, but strange, in a not-thrilling way.
S: Syrupy floral notes, honey, some classic banana/orange peel/coriander, too, as well as authentic Belgian tripel fruit & spice notes. Very impressed.
T: I guess that's elderflower, surprised to find that it is dry from the get-go, a bit of classic Belgian chalk flavor, and finally some tropical fruit near the finish. Quite a journey through all the stages. Mostly good, the chalk throws me off. Sweetness pops its head in near the middle. Wish I could rate it 3.88.
M: Back to the syrup, faint harsh carbonation.
O: Great beer, the flavors jump around a bit but it works. It could use some tweaking (my opinion, duh), but for the prodigious production of this brewery it is a damn fine brew.
