It takes a real weirdo to think pomegranate juice and jasmine green tea would go together well in a beer, but lucky for us, that weirdo is Nick Parttime, Pipeworks employee. This is a delicious and delicate brew balanced by floral and sweet wildflower honey.

22 oz. bottle, with Batch #530 printed on the label. The latest creation from the mad geniuses at Pipeworks Brewing Company, this one an imperial pale ale brewed with honey, green tea, and pomegranate juice.
Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
A - It pours a murky / cloudy golden yellow orange colored body with three fingers of fluffy, foamy white head, and lots of active carbonation streaming topside from the etching at the bottom of the glass. Leaves behind good fluffy strands of lacing. Looks very nice.
S - The aroma is a bit lighter than I expected - a grainy almost pilsner malt sort of aroma, lightly soapy, with a good crisp, almost tart fruitiness / berry aroma imparted from the pomegranate juice.
T - The taste is very nice - fruity, floral, and juicy. Crisp, bready golden malt flavor paired with a nice herbal / berry fruitiness which is probably the green tea & pomegranate pairing. I would never guess green tea or pomegranate without being told. Perhaps a bit yeasty?
M - The feel is smooth, juicy, and easy drinking. Medium-full bodied with crisp carbonation.
Overall, another interesting effort from Pipeworks, but not my favorite of their "weirdo" beers. The pomegranate was a nice touch, however. Recommended.
