This triple has been brewed with a Belgian yeast (a fruitier Belgian yeast than Belgian Gothic), and fermented this pup at a higher than usual temp for optimal yeast character. Then we topped this off with some Amarillo hops. It's seriously next level. Do you have what it takes to take on the End Boss?

22 oz. bottle, with Batch #615 printed on the label. 9.00% abv printed on the label. "A kinda hoppy tripel".
Poured into a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale snifter.
A - Pours a murky golden yellow body. A finger or so of off-white head. Some fat rings of lacing. Looks okay, but not entirely the appearance I'd expect for a tripel.
S - Aroma is comprised mainly of pineapple fruitiness, and a somewhat licorice smelling yeast strain. Light alcohol fumes noticeable. Again, not exactly the aroma I'd expect for a tripel.
T - The taste basically reminds me of what Pipeworks' saison style beers taste like than anything else. Fruity pineapple, light alcohol esters, & some sugary sweetness. Again, I'm viewing this more as a saison than as a tripel.
M - The feel is crisp and moderate. Medium full bodied with good carb.
Overall, as a tripel I'd say its a poor example, but worthwhile as a saison. Probably not a brew I'd want again though.
