Another delicious IPA from Pipeworks. Not overly bitter and nicely balanced with some good complexity. Definitely worth a try.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter, batch #699-700.
Pours a hazy, bright yellow. Average head that dissipates quickly, no real lacing. Smell is an interesting mix, with citrusy hops most prevalent- grapefruit, lemon, but picking up some floral and pine, as well. Gets a little more earthy as it warms. Taste follows the nose, and it tastes pretty good, but it's not as intense as the usual PW hop showcase. Getting some light malt, substantial amount of bitterness. Good body, pretty smooth, slightly dry.
Definitely an interesting beer, loved the different and less typical hops. But, as mentioned, would like the flavor to be a bit more intense. That said, it's still enjoyable and worth a purchase.

Surprisingly good. If you like Nelson Sauvin hops, try this beer. Has a great blueberry note that's reminiscent of Nelson Sauvin. A little different but just as good.
