Poured from bottle into snifter. Didn't get much grapefruit. Tasted like an average saison.

Very subtle grapefruit, the only thing I get from it is a very slight bitterness. Otherwise it's clove, banana, traditional saison flavors. Pretty solid. Extra points for the sweet ass 80's label!

Hazy gold, ample white foam at first that dwindles after subsequent pours.
Aroma has mild grapefruit hints but is overly dominated by a phenolic Saison yeast. Clove and trace banana.
Taste is similarly phenolic and yeasty, clove spiciness and some light banana sweetness at first with a lightly drying finish. Not much grapefruit at all in the taste, which is unfortunate. Medium bodied with a bit of sweet and spicy elements that skew more American saison than Belgian. Not likely one I'll reach for again.
