22 ounce bottle into a PW snifter. Bottled 7/28/15.
Pours a slightly cloudy golden color, a little orange tint, with a small head and a good amount of soapy lacing. Smell is different- dank, a little citrus, earthy, grassy, green grapes, light malt. Taste is citrusy- orange and mango on the front end, more floral and dank beginning halfway, through the back end. There's a medium level of bitterness throughout. Very smooth, well carbonated, almost creamy. Crisp and refreshing.
Another worthy one hop DIPA in the series. Lots of flavor, different from other hops, really drinkable for the ABV. Definitely worth a purchase.

This reminds me a lot of Nelson from Alpine for some reason. Just a bigger version. I get a sort of grape/wine taste that I am a big fan of. Not as boozy in the back as the rest of the ninja series beers. I really enjoyed this. Left nice lacing on the glass with a orange straw colored appearance. One of my favorite of the series for sure.
