Brewed in collaboration with Emporium Arcade Bar.

Bottled late September 2016; drank 9/30/16 @ Harvest Hop Haus.

Cloudy orange appearance.

Big bright white head; strong, frothy lace.

Fresh pine needle & mild honey notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Fresh pine needle & sweet honey flavors; no booze heat.

Crisp & clean; this isn't my DIPA profile but I still enjoyed it.

Pours a beautifully clear amber-copper with a half finger of off-white foam.

Juicy citrus fruits dance around sweet honey and caramel malt notes and a touch of piney/earthiness.

Orange rind, grapefruit, melon, spruce, grassy, and sweet caramel malt.

Medium-bodied, medium carbonation, slightly grassy, smooth.

Overall, a beer that doesn't need complexity out the ass to satisfy. Well balanced, alcohol amazingly hidden, and easy drinking.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a rich amber with a big white head.

At first I wasn't getting much off the aroma, maybe a little cold, but eventually definitely got herbal honey. The hops and spruce tips might be contributing to the herbalness of the honey.

Taste is light for a spruce honey IPA, very well balanced with a full malty mouthfeel.

I was expecting an over the top flavor bomb, what it was was a nice balanced restrained double IPA.

Looks amazing, great Scott there's a bit of junipers-pine there! What a pour! Pours a golden diffuse haze, opaque. Smells of juniper berries, melon and pine. Such sweet nectar.

Well balanced on the tongue, no hope bite but a lingering across the tongue. Worth a second bottle.

Loved it! Slightly hazed golden body with ample foamy white head atop - left some lace trails and arms down the glass. Big pine aromas, earthy and herbal but distinctly pine. On the tongue a medium body with moderate carbonation, smooth and soft, and bursting with delicious pine! Honey softens the blow but does not dominate or detract from the soft bitter IPA impression. Leaves a great air freshener pine lingering behind.
