Pours a pink-ruby with a thin layer of fog to it. A top is a finger of white head with modest retention. Aroma is strawberry, oak, and light yeast. There is a thin layer of biscuit malt as well. Flavor profile is strawberry, oak, and biscuit and bread malt. There is a light yeast sprinkled into the mix. Mouth feel is a light velvety texture, mixed with an effervescent feel of champagne. It has a medium thickness overall. Overall, a solid beer with lovely fruit notes and a ritzy feel. Well constructed.
Served in a 12oz snifter from a 22oz bottle.

Brewed in collaboration with Avec. Bottled March 2016; drank 3/17/16 @ the Yarchives.
Poured from the bottle into a glass.
Opaque ruby red appearance with champagne bubbles throughout.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy pink head; a curtain of tree-rung lace.
Medium mouthfeel.
Strawberry, clove, cream & banana flavors up front; faint clove bite on the finish. Sweet strawberry settled on my lips over the course of the quaff. A fruity Belgian vibe; pleasant.

Rose body that is somewhat clear, thin clear ring. Strawberry and hibiscus are wonderful but the oak, sumac, and flowers clash a bit. Taste mellow out the oak to bring the flavors to heel a bit, the key is sumac doesn't overpower but accents. Feel is bright, smooth for style, with decent carbonation to keep active. A fun spiced beer unlike anything else I have had

Bottled at the beginning of March, drank at the end of July. Wished I had opened it sooner. Poured into Pipeworks NvU snifter. Cloudy reddish brown with light carb and lacing, very little sediment on bottom. Light sour and fruity notes on smell, mild sour fruit taste with a mild smoky background accompanied by tart bubbly boozy feel.

22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled on 3/3/16, had on 3/26.
Pours a bright, cloudy pink with a one finger head and a good amount of lacing. Quite lovely. A floral aroma- hibiscus, light malt, a little sumac- if my middle eastern food adventures help me in picking it out, some yeast, a little tartness, touch of peppercorn. Have no firm feel of the taste, but still pick up a little sumac, hibiscus, light malt, yeast, a hint of the oak spirals. Generally floral and fruity. Smooth, good body, crisp, refreshing.
A great effort from Pipeworks, unique and enjoyable. The seemingly odd ingredients mesh well and produce a really good flavor. You can still find this, it's well worth a try.

javascript:void(0);Strawberry pink with a frothy head - almost like a melted daiquiri. Flowery and slightly herbal; faint tartness. Spring fruits like strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate.
