(review from February 2023) Tasty 2x ipa reminiscent of Bells Hopslam due to the honey w/good mouthfeel/balance; nice bitter/hoppy bite; an orangey/citrusy/juicy flavor & quick-fading finish & smooth but every bit as strong as its 9.3%.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of mandarin orange, sweet honey and caramel. Very sweet tasting with honey, orange, caramel and a mild bitterness.

Bottled early September 2016; drank 9/16/16 @ Harvest Hop Haus.
See-through light orange appearance.
Minimal white head; minimal lace.
Grapefruit, honey & orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Fresh ganja, dry grass & sweet honey flavors up front; orange citrus notes on the finish. Mild booze heat emerged as this warmed.
Pretty sweet & pretty dry; this was above average but not great.

Had on tap at the Tip Tap Room in Boston. Nice cooper color with a small head. This initially felt more fruity....mangoes... pineapple.....at this moment I’m just naming any fruit I can think of. But as I drank it it seemed more malty than hoppy. This is a very good beer. Oh yeah peaches. I forgot peaches.... (is a potato a fruit?)
