Aroma is wheat, salt/minerals and herbs. The flavor is citrus, salt/minerals, wheat, fruit and a mix of sour, tart and dryish/slight funk in the finish.

Pours a dark reddish orange with a fizzy head of meringue foam that fades completely after a couple minutes.
Fruity hibiscus and vaguely floral notes in the aroma, clean lacto/wheat minerality.
Taste is moderately tart and clean, some light florals and hibiscus notes. Basic wheat aftertaste, sort of fades fast.
Light bitter herbals in there briefly, fruity tea notes. Light bodied and quenching, pretty drinkable.
Overall it's good, though a little more assertive tea character would be nice.

Poured into tall Weiss style glass. Cloudy grapefruit colors, real thick foam that dissipates quickly. Slightly constant carb, very little lacing. Slight funk on the smell accompanied by mild fruit notes. Slightly tart taste with a fruity carbonated back end. Not sure I'm getting any tea presence, but it seems like there's a more robust feel to it than most Berliner style Weiss. Very crisp and refreshing, a very good experiment from Pipeworks for sure.
