22 ounce bottle into a stange glass. Bottled 5/10/17, had 5/27/17.
Pours a clear, golden color, with a one and a half inch foamy head and lots of foamy lacing. Aromas of coffee, hops, malt, yeast, a little black pepper in the head. The taste is similar- coffee, malt, yeast, hops, some bitterness, a sweet note in the middle. Smooth, refreshing, a bit creamy, a little fuller body for the style- which I like, well carbonated.
This is an excellent kolsch, the coffee really adds a lot and isn’t overdone. Well worth a purchase if it returns.

L: Very hazy, apricot honey coloring, pencil thin head.
S: A sweet coffee note, slightly roasted malt, smells like your typical dry lager with a hint of sweetness
T: A subtly coffee note that layers well on the kolsch style. Taste is clean and slightly sweet. Coffee flavor comes out more as it warms and creates a nice tasting interesting beer.
F: Smooth and not overly carbonated, very drinkable with no bite considering the 6.2% ABV
O: I was pleasantly surprised by this beer and would consider buying this beer again. It's a weird style and wouldn't pair this beer with food but found it perfect to drink on a porch on a warm summer's day.

Hazed golden color with two fingers of dense antique white head that leaves heavy lacing.
Kolsch aroma up front, with bready malts and a crisp lager-like impression. Then creamed coffee behind.
The taste is more integrated, with light coffee with cherry and distant nutty, chocolate notes mixing up front with the bready, fruity Kolsch taste. A flash of light coffee shows again in the relatively clean aftertaste.
Medium bodied with the perfect level of carbonation.
I had anticipated something much more coffee-forward, but this is actually very refreshing, not sacrificing any of the base beer taste for the coffee addition. The coffe complements the base quite nicely. Really good stuff.
