Light fizzy head, decent retention, clear amber reddish color

Nose a lot going on, vegetal vanilla, nutty pistachio ice cream, hint of coconut oil and citrus zest, mild doughy white stout malt candy, tons of stuff and nothing enjoyable and everything seems artificial

Taste sweet candy like, vanilla flavoring, pistachio ice cream, golden white stout like creamy wheat doughy, touch of coconut ice cream, vanilla iced lemon cake, little alcohol, hint bitterness

Mouth is med to fuller bod, decent carb, mild warming tingly alcohol

Overall taste was a bit better than nose but still way too much going on and a lot of fake characters, not much actual beer

Poured from 22oz bottle into glass. No bottling date info on bottle on or label.
Slightly cloudy, medium amber colored body. Creamy white head. Leaves behind rings and strings of lacing.
Aroma of green apple, and nutty and vanilla flavor.
Taste is totally different from the aroma. Has the pistachio, coconut, vanilla bean, and lemon. Honey like sweetness. Close to cloying sweetness and no bitterness.
Medium mouth feel with good carbonation.
In a strange way the beer does bring forth the baklava taste profile, but it also has the tangy lemon and green apple.
This is a beer that is used as a stage for a combination of flavors to get some semblance of baklava. It is a very out there beer. Commendable but not memorable.

L: copper amber with a slight haze under a 1" mousse-like cream colored foam cap with a very fine bead and good retention

S: Citrus, coconut, honey, vanilla and light toast show up in the aroma

T: has a big lemon, coconut, honey pound cake vibe on the palate

F: very creamy with a medium full body and medium low carbonation

O: A little more hop bitterness would improve the balance

Look: Pours with a layered chocolate brown and amber with a creamy off-white one finger head.

Smell: As sweet and fruity as dessert. Honey and lemon are the predominant flavors.

Taste: Incredible! Barely like a beer, with heavy vanilla and honey flavors backed by pistachio and minimal bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Creamy with almost no carbonation.

Overall: One of the strangest beers I’ve tried, but also one of the coolest and best tasting.

Pours a hazy light brown with a tan head. The aroma is caramel, vanilla and honey. The flavor has pistachio as well. Smooth sweet and creamy, A nice desert beer. Glad I shared with several friends.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 5/23/17, had 6/6/17.

Pours a cloudy orange, with a half inch, quickly dissipating head and some soapy lacing. Aromas of malt, vanilla, honey, a little coconut and citrus, light yeast, a hint of pistachio. The taste also leads with the malt, then honey, lemon peel, coconut, some vanilla and pistachio, light yeast. Smooth, has a light creaminess, a good lighter to medium body, well carbonated.

Flavors are well mixed, the add-ins are pretty distinct in the flavor but less so with the aroma. Very good overall, but don’t know if I need it again.

Sampling a cellar temp 22 oz bottle and pouring into a snifter. The beer pours a deep ruby red color with rich mahogany colors as well. Several very active streams of carbonation rise quickly to the surface. There is a creamy beige colored head of 4 cm that foams up and fades slowly but doesnt completely disappear throughout the entire sampling event. Very good head retention.
The aroma is fairly sweet with vanilla and some almond and other nut notes. I also get some hits of floral sweet honey. The booze is hidden and I dont find any hop notes on this brew.
The first sip reveals a silky smooth almost creamy textured beer with gentle rolling carbonation.
The flavor is some sweet caramel and brown sugar malt that mixes with some floral honey notes and a bit of vanilla. This rolls to a bit of a roasted malt note and a bit of nuttiness that lingers after the swallow. I still dont get any hop character nor do I find any hints of the booze, making this a very drinkable beer.
I enjoy this one and find the golden stout category an interesting one. Worth a shot and glad to have purchased a bottle.

Pours hazy, dark gold in color, with 1/4 inch head. Taste is honey, bread, and nut at the end. Sweet, medium-heavy bodied, with medium carbonation..Slightly dry finish..Way better as it warms..Makes for a tasty dessert beer that I would get again.
