22 ounce bottle into a goblet. Bottled 6/23/17, had 7/3/17.

Pours a cloudy pinkish orange, not much of a head, some soapy lacing. Smells of malt, light orange, a light yeasty funk, light cherries. The taste is malt, orange, light juniper, caramel. Some sweetness, a light intermittent bitterness. Smooth, creamy, a good body, well carbonated.

I’m at a loss to really break this down, and I apologize for the crappy review. But, I like it. Not as bitter as expected, but also not as aromatic. I like anything Pipeworks, but this may be your thing, it may not.

Taste: complex, semi sweet, sour , fruit, orange peel notes with Juniper berries.
Semi sweet malt and funky herbal aroma. Amber color, slight haze, Lacy lattice to the head. Medium body. Unique.

Pours a reddish almost blood orange color. Cloudy when held to the light. Thin white head dissipates steadily leaving a tin of white foam along the outside of the glass.

Smell has notes of orange zest, spice, touch of dry white wine, herbal notes and some juniper and pine notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange zest, dry white wine, some herbal spice notes, juniper and pine, with a lingering herbal bitterness on the back end. Touch of sweetness to the beer, but not overly so. The flavor profile certainly invokes a negroni.

Feel is light and lively. Medium to moderate carbonation with a bubbly sensation.

Overall this beer accomplishes what it set out to do pretty well. That being said, its incredibly unique and interesting. If you like negronis and their general flavor profile and like beer - then you'l probably enjoy this.
