22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled 7/14/17, had 7/30/17.
Pours a cloudy, faded gold, with a half inch quickly dissipating head and some loose lacing. Smells of yeast, earthy hops, malt- more as it warms, light toffee. The taste mostly follows the nose- malt, yeast, hops- still earthy, some caramel, light spices. A light hop bitterness on the finish, a little sweetness as it warms. Mostly smooth, a good lighter body, well carbonated.
A nice malt/hop balance, good flavor. This was a good change of pace, but this is just not a standout style, I do not hunt for it. Pipeworks made it work, though.

Poured into a Pipeworks NvU tulip. Orange color, slightly present mildly creamy head and lacing. Lots of floaties. Mildly funky/dank/yeasty/malty scent. Kind of a metallic taste, coppery I guess. Slightly malty. A little funky back end. Light and gentle presence. Better as it warms, more flavor comes through. Pretty good representation of the style.

Poured out a clear, orange/amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled grassy and floral with a biscuity malt presence. Sweet and malty with a mild bitterness.

Pours a light golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing but some spotty foam on top of the beer. Smell is malty with some herbal earthy hops and a nutty flavor. Taste follows the nose with a nice prominent simple english malt profile. Nice earthy hops with a bittering finish. Feel is light, sessionable and crisp. Overall Im impressed with this one - its quite a good stab at the English IPA style and avoids being an "American take" on the style.
