Our gose with cucumbers and sea salt is tart, tangy, a bit savory, a bit sour, with a slightly salty finish. We add the cucumbers to the tank at the end of fermentation so they maintain the crisp refreshing flavor we all want on these hot AF summer days. This beer has always been a crew fav - as soon as the weather starts to turn we all start wondering - when should be brew Sea Cucumbo?! The time has come!

Drinking a three year old can of this. Still plenty of salinity and cucumber flavor. Almost like drinking tasty weak pickle juice. Crisp and dry, refreshing and light ABV. Not bad for an old weird beer.

Tasted in a pint glass from a one pint can on September 27, 2019. I like gose and I like cucumbers but this did not work for me. Tastes like carbonated cucumber juice.

Obtained as a 4-pack of pint cans from the PW Dojo on its release weekend, three days ago. This is crisp and fresh, a great summer sipper. Lemon, the salty twang of a sea breeze, celery, pear, and of course, cucumber.

650ml bottle, undated but purchased fresh, poured into a Pipeworks snifter glass.

The beer pours a dullish golden color, lemon hues with some haziness and a foamy and fizzy white head, moderate retention that offers a bit of soapy lace. The aroma is pleasant, soft cucumber, light mineral water with some floral aromas, a touch of citrus peel with pale wheat grain and a nice amount of salty brine. The flavors echo the nose well, refreshing and crisp cucumber with some lemon zest and more assertive sea salt while the finish is more grain forward with a little bit of floral character and a strong mineral water profile. The mouthfeel is good, very lively, zippy and crisp with a light body that coats well and finishes tartly and dryly.

Verdict: A very good Gose from Pipeworks. Refreshing, crisp, bright and the cucumber is a nice touch, really makes for a great summer beer.

Look is very light yellow and pours with 1/2 a finger of bright white head. Dissipation is rapid.

Aroma is cucumber and sea salt. Neither one overpowers the other.

Taste follows nose. Cucumber upfront, sea salt and a bit of tartness.

Feel is crisp and refreshing.

Overall a nice gose with an unusual ingredient. All things considered it's pretty well executed in my opinion.
