Pours a hazy golden yellow with two fingers of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with plenty of lacing. Aroma of tangerine and melon. Taste follows nose.

Pours an effervescent & chill hazed gold with one finger+ of pearl colored head. Doesn't drop bright all the way. Great head retention & lacing

S: Citrus heavy, some mango notes too

T: Reverse of the nose, Mango leads the charge, then oranges, green melons & dryness up front. Limes, dryness, tangerines & a little passion fruit as this beer warms up. Finishes with lime tangerine & green melon; slight acidity

MF: Medium body, assertive carbonation, good balance

Solid, juicy IPA that drinks easy

16 fl oz. can, canned 01/19/2023. Another freshie 4pk to me from Pipeworks, acquired this one at the local beer spot. My first encounter with this beer, although it seems they've brewed this one before. Nothing to say about it on the can aside from the ambiguous statement of "India Pale Ale".

Poured to Camp Crystal Lake stemless wine snifter.
Pours a nice classical golden IPA body, aptly carbonated, with a big soapy finger of white head. Looks fresh & appealing.
Wonderful fresh aromas: earthy, herbal, grassy, pithy. Notes of citrus, lemongrass, cracked rye, biscuity breadiness.
Flavors follow, juicy, fruity, herbal, earthy, grassy, and fresh above all else. Subtle notes of peppercorn / rye malt.
Feel is smooth, crisp, borderline quenching. Super light & easy-drinking for the modest abv. (Can lists a 6.10% abv, rather than the higher 7.3% listed on BA). Overall, another highly recommended beer / IPA from Pipeworks. Thanks guys.

Pours slightly hazy, caution light yellow in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is big pineapple juice and rind with melon, and husk. Medium-light bodied, slightly bitter, with moderate carbonation. The pineapple just jumps. One of the better ipas from Pipeworks. Not always a fan of their hoppy beers, but this one does what it says it will and does it well.

A midwest ipa? Hear me out, it has the aggressive and piney hops of the west, and the juicy sweet finish of the east. Thus meet in the middle in the midwest? Don't hate it. Lacking rich depth, but instead a very easy and drinkable ipa.

Thanks to HIGHPA for this 22 oz. bottle that arrived two days ago. No sense in letting it sit. Split with my wife

The pour is a nice light gold. Smells like a creamy mish-mash of tropical fruits with sugar sprinkled on it. Nice. Not very IPAish.

Wongo Mongo sounds like a good Wham! song, & tastes like fruit mixed with ground aspirin…& I mean that in a good way. Hell, I’m getting old, & sometimes I lie in bed & count my aches & pains, & a good count is two or under. Grating bitterness up front give me that old school IPA feeling right behind my belly button, backed up by sharp mango, citrus, creamed pineapple. Harsh & oh so drinkable.

A very good IPA with nods both east & west.

22oz bottle; no apparent freshness date, but it was new on the shelves at Trader Joe's. Pours golden with a slight haze and a creamy white head that slowly fades to a foam. Bog aromatic hop nose with hints of tropical fruit, passion fruit, lemon-lime. Pungent hop bitterness heavy on tart passion fruit, pithy lemon-lime rind, lemongrass, earthy tea leaf, and a bit of pineapple and piney mango; not much for malt presence. Medium & resinous body, carbonation fills out the feel, sharp dry bitterness lingers throughout with grassy citric hop oils coating the palate. Definitely a hop bomb here. Aroma is fantastic, but I wasn't crazy over the flavor - it seems like it needs a little something more to complement the bold hop flavors in my opinion.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle on February 10, 2018. Brewed with Galaxy and Mosaic hops. Another well made flavorful IPA from Pipeworks.
