Reviewed when it was over six months old. Very dark crimson color with fluffy lasting head. Smell is raspberry, mild citrus from the hops and the lemon. Taste has zing of raspberry and lemon and a pretty standard IPA. Feel is creamy, zesty, mouth watering, mouth filling, flavorful. I enjoyed it at six months, wonder if it was because of it despite the age on it.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 22 fl oz bottle on May 5, 2018. A collaboration with Valiant comics. IPA brewed with raspberry and lime. Well made but the flavor profile is not my favorite.

22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 3/27/18. Had 4/9/18.
Pours a cloudy reddish purple, with a one inch foamy head with good retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of raspberries, yeast, some dank hops, a little lime, some black pepper when warm. The taste is dank hops, pine, malt, some raspberries, some lime- but more as citrus. Lots of bitterness up front that mellows a bit through the bottle, lightly tart. Smooth, a little creamy, a solid medium body, well carbonated.
It’s good, well made, the add- ins are integral and show out. But overall, it’s not as different feeling as I thought it would be. However, at a really good price point, it’s well worth a purchase.
