22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 7/6/18.

Pours a mostly clear orange amber, with a half inch quickly dissipating foamy head and some soapy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, oak, white grapes, malt, vanilla- more as warms, toffee, some coconut, some wine. The flavors mimics the aroma- bourbon, malt, oak, less vanilla and white grapes than the nose, some coconut and vanilla, caramel, light wine and white chocolate. A little alcohol bleeds through. Smooth, a very good light to medium body, well carbonated.

This grew on me as I worked through the bottle. Definitely bourbon forward, but the base is good, and there’s a fair amount of aromas and flavors to pick out. Works pretty well.

I have found most white stouts miss the mark by being too sweet and chalky. Not so with this one. It has a brighter and lighter mouthfeel, but still has a roasted malt complexion. The smell is boozy pina colada, and the taste is really boozy pina colada, especially in the finish. Don't know if I would want a ton of this since the bourbon is so hot compared to the sweet drink flavors, but fun
