Gose brewed with smoked agave hearts from @sacred_agave and sea salt.
This beer is light, tangy, with subtle smack of caramelized agave. We brewed this beer with @sacred_agave who make it their mission to support rural Mexican towns where agave plants are grown and harvested for mezcal. They work to help replenish agave plants, maintain and replicate water-preservation systems, as well as build libraries!

Pours out light straw with initially a 2 finger white head, it reduces but remains. Has a fresh sea air scent.
Nice puckering edge to it but not overdone. Lime, lemon, and mildly salty. Okay carbonation, clean finish. Real refreshing gose.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/10/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine sea salt, hay, straw, grass, agave, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, agave, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine sea salt, hay, straw, grass, agave, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine sea salt, hay, straw, grass, agave, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, agave, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/acidic, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an excellent gose. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, agave, sea salt, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink, with the mellowly acidic/saline/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesomely well rounded Lacto complexity, with a great balancing agave/wheat/malt backbone. Pretty much zero smokey notes from the roasted agave hearts, but a spot on Gose style otherwise.
