22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 8/9/18.
Pours a bright yellow gold, a little cloudy, with a half inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of tropical hops, light pine, guava, passion fruit, pineapple- maybe from the soursop?, a little yeast. There’s a light sour aroma, and smells a little dank as it warms. The taste tightens up- guava, malt, pine, some passion fruit, light strawberries, a sweet note in the middle. There’s a fair amount of sourness- it has a bite, and a sweet note midway. Smooth, a good medium body, well carbonated.
It’s interesting, different, sour, and well crafted. The soursop is the star and the guava also stands out. The base IPA is good, but nothing special. Very enjoyable.

L: hazy yellow gold permeated by streams of bubbles rising moderately fast under a 1" white cap with fair to good retention
S: smells like tropical fruit punch with the guava and passion fruit easy to pick out and supported by other tropical fruit aromas
T: A citrus rind bitterness and tropical fruit hop flavors ally with the added fruit to both highlight and balance the fruit flavors
F: medium body and medium carbonation
O: a big flavored beer that has you wanting another glass

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 22 fl oz bottle on July 23, 2018. Brewed with soursop, guava and passion fruit. Lots of tart fruit aromas and flavors. Recommended.

This is more fruity than it is hoppy, and it is not even close. Perfect for a sweltering hot day. Taste is fruit filled with no hint of the 8.5 abv, crazy. The fruits are all there as promised, tons of guava, passion fruit, pineapple, and a fruit I don't know so I assume that is the soursop. Has a bit of an herbal finish. Really like how it is unique compared to other run of the mill tropical (aka pineappe) ipas. Feel is soapy

Poured from 22oz bottle into glass. No dating information found.
Slightly cloudy/mostly clear, pale gold colored body. One finger of creamy, bubbly head sticks around. Some rings of lacing are left behind with each sip.
Tropical fruit aroma. No citrus, but more from the guava, passion fruit, and soursop (a little strawberry and green apple). Has quite a distinctive smell for an IPA.
Lots of tropical fruit also in the taste, and a slightly sour overlay. More citrus in the taste than in the aroma. Tartness from the guava, passion fruit, and soursop. No bitterness.
Mouth feel is full and creamy. The clearer body shows off the good carbonation support from rising bubbles.

Pours a somewhat cloudy but not at all opaque gold color. Thin white head dissipates steadily but not completely. Aroma s a very fragrant fruity aroma with notes of orange, grapefruit, passion fruit, guava and mango. Topical and fragrant. Taste follows the nose with some fruity citrusy notes and a strong cracker malt backbone. Grassy herbal bitterness starts pretty quickly and lingers through the finish. Feel is light to medium bodied.Moderate carbonation. Semi-dry finish. Overall its a solid very good IPA from Pipeworks.

Juicy. Crisp. Fruity. Hoppy. Clear. Refreshing. Clean. Dry finish. Tropical. Mild booziness. Easy drinking. I think I have run out of simple sentences. Buy it. Great summer beer.

I don’t understand the Pipeworks-Unicorn connection, but hey, I remember stocking unicorns in dungeons in my DM days back in college. So I’m unicorn tolerant. 22 oz. bottle split with my wife.
The pour is streaking against current trends, a very light gold that one can actually see through! Wow! Very quiet. The nose lives up to its billing, like having the tropics all up in your nose hair. Nice.
Tropic of Unicorn got me to look up “soursop”, so this is a net win before the fluid tickles my lips. No, I’m not going to define it for you. The taste is also as promised, a mid-ocean swell of tropical fruit plus as the slightly tart tang of the soursop kicks in. Green apples. Dry. Enjoying this, but it’s one & done for me.
Certainly interesting. I usually hate any kind of sour in my IPA, but this works better than most. Good beer.
