16 oz can into a pint glass. Slightly hazy peach-tinged orange color with a half-finger of off-white foam. Grapefruit citrus and peach/melon aroma. Grapefruit carries through in the flavor, along with pineapple and some of the prickly pear. Mild piney hop bitterness rounds it out. Medium-bodied with a lot of carbonation.

On tap. Poured a clear, pinkish orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of pear, melon and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a mild bitterness.

Pours a pinkish tinged bronze color. Thick frothy yet velvety head slowly disintegrates but not completely leaving a blanket of velvety foam on top of the beer. Beer is completely clear and brilliantly effervescent. Last pour clouds the beer as sediment from the bottom of the can falls into the beer.
Aroma is interesting. Notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, orange and prickly pear come through on the nose. Fruity without being too sweet at least on the nose.
Taste has notes of passion fruit, prickly pear, mango and grapefruit with a hint pineapple. Some caramel-ly malt backbone is noted. Slight pine-y hop bitterness comes through on the back end. Not too sweet. As the beer warms up it does get a slight watermelon flavor - but its really only there as the beer warms up.
Feel is medium bodied for the style. Smooth, somewhat sticky, semi-bitter dry finish. Mild carbonation.
Overall a solid beer - its good, but just wasn't a flavor profile that jived for me.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on July 21, 2018. Prickly pear cactus fruits bring a floral watermelon flavor to this easy pale brewed with galaxy and mosaic hops.

Thanks to HIGHPA for this 16 oz. can that arrived in mid-August among a happy explosion of Pipeworks beer. If you could move the brewery/DOJO closer to MN I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Pop the cap & fizzzzzover commences. Only an ounce or two, but the carbonation is on the high end of the Kepler Curve. Looks like your standard IPA/pale, gentle mix of golden orange. Barely stinks at all. Vaguely fruity. Das ist alles.
Danger Fruit should just be renamed “Danger”. The prickly pear appears to have taken a sabbatical elsewhere – none is sensed (verified by my much more sensitive wife). As a pale it’s fine. Nice bitterness, light malt, dry, refreshing. Maybe there is an atom or two of something fruity in the finish…touch of kiwi? Who knows.
As a pale, this is nice. As a prickly pear pale, it fails on all cylinders. Pretty good brew.
