8/17/18 can.
Really enjoyable and pillowy tropical and citrus fruit packed pale ale. Nice and light, low bitterness, crushable, and leaves you wanting another sip.

16oz can, date stamped 8/17/18. Foamy beige head caps an opaque rusty colored ale. Juicy citrus hop aroma with some bready caramel malt and tropical fruit. Flavor is juicy with modest bitterness and notes of orange, mango, pine, grapefruit, passion fruit, caramel, and bready grain; a nice refreshing meld of flavors. Light-to-medium body, lively carbonation, finishes with a prickle on the palate. Very enjoyable and approachable APA here.

Pint can straight from The Pdubs Dojo. The pour is orange-brown, moderately turbid, with a full finger of foam and good retention. Very aromatic, lots of orange and floral hops with lighter notes of earthy dankness, black limes, and wildflower honey. Grain and malt enters into the equation after taking a sip, but this is still quite citrusy, with the addition of some pink grapefruit near the finish. Full-bodied for 5% ABV. Not trying to be a juicebomb, Scorched Tundra X has lots of character for a nigh-sessionable APA, making it a great sipper for a hot summer afternoon.
