A- Hazy and murky pour from the tallboy into a goblet. The body is a golden to pale orange and the head has a creamy texture peaking at an inch high. Good head retention leads to large sheets of lacing at each stop.
S- Medium strength aroma of mostly fruity hops with a few other accents. Mango, orange juice, dank weed, grapefruit and bubble gum lead the way in tropical fruity hop vibe. Floral, herbal, oaty, slightly sweet, pine and papaya hints.
T- Remains fruity and juicy but this is joined by green hop, scallion, bitter berry, heavily herbal and floral hop notes. Mango, papaya, guava and the softer hop notes a bit overshadowed by the aforementioned. A touch perfumy in the finish with whole wheat, cracker, oat, bready and honey hints.
MF- Light-medium bodied brew with a puffy and frothy texture. The carbonation is at a moderate level and it ends with a fairly intense bitterness. Very silky and soft.
Very juicy and tropical aroma. Still juicy on the palate but also fairly bitter with more floral, herbal and citrus zest notes coming out alongside some berry hop notes.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of tropical fruit and toasted caramel. Sweet pineapple, grapefruit, orange and caramel taste.

Pipeworks has had some quite-good hazy IPAs lately, and they've also been killing the beer label game with weird stuff like this and Unicorn vs. All Internet Cats (which wasn't a great beer, in my opinion, but whatever). This one sounded intriguing given the use of a new-ish hop varietal (Styrian Wolf) combined with a cryo version of a classic hop (Cascade) and a modern favorite (Citra). Let's see what it's made of.
Pours an unsurprisingly-opaque, intense looking ruddy orange color with absolutely zero clarity. This looks like it was pulled directly from the trub at the bottom of the fermenter. Yikes, guys. However, the head on the pour is absolutely amazing; super characterful and overbearing with like four solid fingers of immense foamy suds. Nearly-completely-consistent lace as well. For an ugly colored beer, this definitely has a good pour. I'm kind of conflicted, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
The nose is chock-full of leafy notes, strawberry, melon, light baking spice, a touch of anise, light mango, peach, and an almost stone-fruit-like plum aspect. Super weird, but actually kind of refreshing in how unusual it seems. Lightly grassy but somehow very aggressive with its intense dank notes. I think the Cryo Cascade is coming across huge here, honestly. It strikes me as the type of hop that would benefit immensely from the cryogenizing process, but perhaps I'm just spitballing here.
Wow, this is extremely unusual. Very spicy in a way that is unlike beers hopped with varietals like Loral or Ella (also modern hops that have an atypical/less tropical/less citrus dominant profile)... almost has a Mosaic-like element with its focus on ripe red berries, but there's definitely a stone fruit note like the nose suggested. Creamy and smooth with only moderating carbonation. Freshly-picked mango melds with pomelo and anise in a striking way. Apricot, melon, and raspberry with dense grassiness and a nice resinous structure that doesn't feel very bitter. This is definitely a leftfield NEIPA. I really enjoy it, actually. It's like something my local peeps in Lamplighter would put out. Experimental but still definitely in the New England hazy beer category. Pick it up and give it a shot if this review makes it sound good to you. It's not for those looking for a generic juice bomb, but it's also one of those brews that could become a new favorite if its odd flavor combinations work for your palate.

L: hazy gold under a 3" off-white to beige cap with good retention.
S: citrus, trace onion and garlic, some dank and ditch weed. The onion and garlic aromas die off after a few minutes.
T: Fruit, tropical fruit, citrus, biscuit, and dank lightly seasoned with a shake of onions. Has a mild initial sweetness that dries slightly on the bitter hop finish.
F: Very creamy, medium body and carbonation.
O: Interesting citrusy IPA that is much like many other NE IPAs.
