Pale Ale brewed with lactose, vanilla, and guava:
Guava Dreamsicle is silky, tangy, with a lingering soft sweetness from the milk sugar. The tropical fruit blends really nicely with the hops here.

Missed out on the other two dreamsicle beers and was excited to try this. Don't, it is disappointing. Guava is in the taste somewhere, but it is covered up by really bitter hops, orange booze, some sugary vanilla, wheat, and what I can best describe as acidic licorice. Unnecessarily harsh, with acidic, wheaty, cloying sweetness, and hoppy aftertastes that all clash. Smell is wheaty hops, acidic lemon, seltzer, and sugar. Missed the mark on this one.

Cloudy, green-hued dirty gold color. Moderate head with excellent rings for lace. Sporadic spots and streaks between them.
First impression is of a sweet tutti-frutti smell. Light hop.
The flavor is quite different from the smell. I get sweet milk chocolate up front. The body is rich with a muted carbonation level. There's a touch of hop bitterness in the swallow but then the sweet cocoa comes back for the aftertaste. Borderline bizarre because nothing would lead me to experience these smells and tastes, particularly the name -- I get no guava or IPA notes.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on November 23, 2018. Pale ale brewed with lactose, vanilla and guava. Nice feel but falls short on aroma and flavor.

Canned 11/16/18; drank 11/25/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge bright white head; a thick curtain of frothy lace.
Peanut butter, wheat & faint guava notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Peanut butter & wheat flavors up front; cream & mild guava notes on the finish.
Not sure how a beer that has guava, lactose & vanilla mostly tastes like peanut butter...but it's not a good look. Full pass moving forward.
