Pours a clear effervescent light straw color. Thin spritzy white head dissipates almost immediately. Rather effervescent.
Aroma is light and barley there, but notes of wheat, slight tart lime, and some grains.
Taste follows the nose with some lightly tart wheat and grain notes. A touch of lime and graham cracker comes through. Im not getting much cinnamon. The vanilla does come through as the beer warms. Its not very tart at all - it just kind of teases you with tartness, but lacks any assertiveness. A touch of sweetness pervades the flavor profile, but it is not overly sweet.
Feel is light and drinkable. Quite refreshing.
Overall this is one of those beers that is solid, but with some tweaking and refinement it could be great. I'd love to see more tartness with the lime taking a more prominent role in the profile. As it is, I look forward to revisiting this one again over the summer.
