Chocolate Milk Stout brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, and cacao nibs. This batch is fresh out of the oven. Each sip of this beer is as delicious as the cinnamon roll in the center of the pan - which we can all agree is the most delicious cinnamon roll.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Had 3/28/19.
Pours a thick looking dark brown, opaque, with a one and a half inch foamy head with some foamy lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa, lactose, some molasses. Pretty similar flavors- roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, some cinnamon, some molasses, a light bitterness throughout. Smooth, a little creamy, a good full body, well carbonated.
Good, but not nearly enough cinnamon. Could use more vanilla, too. The base beer stays solid. Overall, it’s kind of pedestrian for Pipeworks.

With the name of this beer I wouldn’t have bought it except, Pipeworks, whom I trust. 22 oz. bottle split with my wife.
Black, with a nose that promises a cinnamon enema in the taste buds.
Cinnamon Jones Dog – well, can’t hate a beer for describing about what it’s going to be, I guess. Problem is this is missing the roll part of the cinnamon roll, so it’s just cinnamon with minor notes of cocoa & lactose, probably with a stout underbelly. Thick, but two ounces would be ideal.
If you eat cinnamon, chew on cinnamon sticks, or suck on cassia bark, you’re going to love this. Me? Not so much.Would be acceptable in a tiny, tiny sample, no more.

Had back to back with the spiteful cinnamon bun HH, and this pales in comparison. The cinnamon is there but everything else is muddled. The cocoa and vanilla come through but with a thick viscosity of roasted malt. Has almost a peanut butter taste in the finish sometimes. Smell was more focused on cinnamon and cocoa, but again muted. Still felt ok enough, chewy, thicker than usual for a milk stout. Love this series but this was a swing and a miss.
