Collaboration with Folksbier
Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic hopped IPA with Spelt and Oat Malt.
Collaboration with our dear friends at Folksbier in Brooklyn, NY. This beer was dreamed up over so many emails back and forth with the good people at Folksbier. The goal was something fluffy and a little unusual, yet familiar. The beer came together like cloud formations in the sky.
This textured IPA billows with notes of ripe mango, grapefruit juice, apricot flesh, and marzipan (from the spelt).

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on June 21, 2019. Look is hazy orange with a creamy head and lingering lacing. Notes of apricot, mango and bitter citrus. Feel is pillowy soft.

16oz can, date stamped 05/20/2019. Opaque & hazy yellow-orange body is capped by a thin foamy off-white head. Tropical fruit juice aroma smells zesty hinting at grapefruit, tangerine, passion fruit, and pine. Bold zesty flavors or grapefruit, tart passion fruit, pineapple, tangerine, piney mango, and oat malt. Creamy, smooth, and zesty body prickles the tongue a bit; ample carbonation, modestly bitter finish. Great blend of flavors with this collaboration. Can't seem to go wrong with Pipeworks!

Canned 5/20/19; drank 6/10/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; a thick curtain of frothy lace.
Orange citrus, wheat & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Creamy medium thick mouthfeel.
Orange citrus & cream flavors up front; cream & sweet marzipan notes on the finish.
Borderline cloying; it's nice enough but one is enough.
