Imperial IPA with honey, raspberry purée, mango purée, and lime juice.

Rainbow Sure Bet is refreshing and tasty just like rainbow sherbert! It's our Sure Bet citra hopped IIPA with wildflower honey recipe but with a tasty medley of ripe fruit juice and puree. We're also excited to offer this beer not in 22oz bottles - but in single 16 oz cans and at better price per ounce! All around, this beer is a sure bet.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Had 7/9/19.

Pours kind of a pinkish orange, cloudy, with a one and a half inch foamy head with good retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, mango, raspberries, light malt, light black pepper fully warmed. Smells a little dank. The flavor begins with lots of mango, then grapefruit, raspberries, some lime- more as it warms, malt, some pine. Tastes a little dank. Smooth, a solid lighter body, well carbonated.

The raspberries add nicely to the original brew, still plenty of mango and citrus hops. Great balance between the hops, malt and fruit. Really enjoyable.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on July 22, 2019. Imperial IPA made with honey, raspberry purée, mango purée and lime juice. One of the better fruited IPAs I have ever tasted.

Hazy darker orange body with an off-white head. Sweeter notes lead the smell: honey, lime, mango nectar, raspberry, melon, peach, pear, lemon, grapefruit, pine, caramel, and hop resin, but all come across together a little syrupy to the nose. Taste is pretty much as the smell leads you to believe, little more hop bitterness but still very mild, very fruity and sweet. The orignal sure bet succeeded because of the contrast between the sweeter fruit and the hops, but here it is so saturated with the fruit. Feel is syrupy, sticky, and thick for style.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Pours opaque amber with pink hues and a frothy cream colored head with a tinge of pink; chunky lacing down the glass. Amazing aroma of tropical mango, raspberry, grapefruit, lime, pine, honey, and grain. Interesting mix of flavors; it's tart, sweet, sour, and bitter all at once with notes of tart raspberry, sweet mango, sour lime, bitter grapefruit; honey, pine, caramel, and orange zest all in there as well. Fuller body, alcohol is warming but not hot, tart with a pucker but still bitter on the finish. Definitely a unique beer here. I've had nothing like it and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on buying it. I had balked at the price twice before, but eventually got a can to try.

Pours a dull matte dirty pink color. Thin sudsy white head dissipates steadily leaving a sloping hill of foam on top of the beer. Opaque, but not sludgy in appearance.

Aroma has strong notes of raspberry with hints of lime, green hops, and some light mango notes. Exceedingly fruit forward with the IPA taking a distant back seat to the fruit purees.

Taste has notes of raspberry, lime, mango (shocking I know). The lime meshes with the hops and provides an acidic bitterness starting in the middle and continuing through the back end with a lingering lime rind bitterness. The raspberry is probably the most pronounced flavor here. The mango is subtle and the honey is petty much indiscernible.

Feel is light to medium bodied. Gentle moderate carbonation. Semi-dry finish.

While based off the fish beer of similar name - this one lacks the sublime balance of the other beers. While still a tasty beer, its just got too much going on and in the end more isn't better.

Released 6/28/19; drank 7/4/19 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy dull pink appearance.

A rough pour yielded a huge white/pink head; strong, frothy lace.

Sweet raspberry, dry mango & faint lime notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Raspberry juice & dry mango flavors up front; faint lime notes on the finish. The honey is imperceptible here; it's fruity & nice enough, but a bit tame overall.

I really like how the flavors come together with the adjuncts. Sweet like a milkshake IPA but with more balance. I think I’ll go get another can. The individual can for $7 is a new thing that seems off putting at first but really is normal as a price per ounce for these beers.
